Project Management

  • The services offered are advising and guiding a business/ organization through the steps of project management.

  • The skill has been developed due to vast experience originating, preparing, implementing, directing and concluding the work of project teams of employees to accomplish detailed objectives and goals. 

 

  • Project Management responsibilities involved are listed below (note descriptions below are brief summaries of separate individual projects):

 

  • purchased residential home to provide supportive housing facility and developed social programs for residents in consultation with provincial representatives

  • feasibility study to determine appropriate renovations to existing building and the identification of a long-term residential facility

​​

  • upgrade and renovation to provide secure facility and the purchase supplies for recreation facility

​​

  • implemented program to provide youth-at-risk with employment opportunities and skills

​​

  • hired support staff for general office duties to provide services for residents

​​

  • capital costs of renovations to facility for women and children

​​

  • rebuilding of facility to replace items destroyed by fire

​​

  • provided funding support to increase advertising and subscription revenues and expand networking capacity

Program Management

  • the program management life cycle will provide an business/ organization with comprehensive methods to conduct each phase

​​

the phases are comprised of the following:

 

  • Planning​ - a reasonable process to validate what actions should or can be taken

  • Development and Assessment - this phase involves taking ideas and creating convincing plans, while the assessment phase involves a vigilant examination of plans to ensure business/ organizational objectives and goals are met

  • Recommendation and Approval - the recommendation stage would involve deciding if a plan/ initiative or program should be approved for financing; while the approval stage is determined by a management representative who determines if the rationale for the plan/ initiative or program should be financed or not

  • Developing an Agreement - this stage is where some type of written agreement would be developed that would outline the roles and responsibilities of individuals and clarifies the term and conditions for payment 

  • Monitoring - assist with ensuring an agreement remains compliant with applicable policies, activities that required to be conducted and/ or relevant financial concerns

  • Follow-up and Evaluation - involves a broad analysis of financing decisions and program outcomes to evaluate if business/ organizational objectives and goals were met
