Workforce Analysis

  • The workforce analysis is designed to compare two data sets of the labour force.  The data sets that are compared are the number of designated group members by occupational group in the employer’s workforce versus the qualified designated group members in the external workforce in the respective recruitment area.

  • An effective workforce analysis generally involves 6 steps

Employment Systems Review

  • An Employment Systems Review is related to the four designated groups under the Employment Equity Act who are identified as Women, Aboriginal Peoples, Persons with Disabilities and Visible Minorities. 

 

  • The goal is to recognize and investigate any current and potential barriers that hinder the designated group members participation in the workforce.
